Mendocino has a variety of small to medium-sized inns, some in authentic Victorian-era buildings, some with ocean views. Fort Bragg, a larger town ten miles north, has a greater variety of lodging possibilities, including more economical motels.

Camping is also possible in the area, but in November you’ll need to be prepared for cool, wet weather. Nearby camping options include Van Damme State Park (two miles south of Mendocino) or Caspar Beach RV Park and Campground (four miles north).
